Modern Religious Art

This is an example of the modern religious art available at the Natural Abstractions Gallery. It's entitled Madonna & Child. It's a close abstract art photo of a purple thistle and bud. The thorns, in a halo pattern around the bloom, echo the crown of thorns, while the flower's bud seems to lift and support the bloom. There are many other flower and natural artworks in the galleries here, both religious and secular - or as secular as you can get while still creating art.
